These same dangerous chemicals are outlawed with strict fines and consequences for their use in most all other countries. Why are US consumers exposed to these toxic substances and why are we not being told? How can such a double standard exist in the United States when countries worldwide deem these substances far too dangerous for their citizens to consume? Tonight on Mad Science: The Genetic Crossroad! Join host Anna Kavanaugh for "Beyond Conspiracy" at 7pm PST! There are numerous theories passed around about the sinister objectives of the corporate biotech machine, so much so that it is difficult to know what to really believe. Are there wealthy organizations using biotechnology for a more sinister agenda? Is the public being manipulated and kept from the truth? Some activists and conspiracy theorists are making frightening claims but we must go beyond the conspiracy theory to find what is really going on.

Do you know about the United Nations programs Codex Alimentarus? How about Agenda 21? Do you know why biotech corporations would want to utilize climate weather control technology? Conspiracy theories run wild about these things and more, but tonight Anna digs down deep to find out if there is any truth to these theories at the core.

Did you know the FDA will be updating its mandates for ingredient labeling for the first time since their mandates were introduced? Unfortunately, nothing in the proposals address the labeling of GMO foods. With the upcoming changes to ingredient labeling in the pipeline, now is the perfect time for the FDA to respond to consumer concern and demand for GMO disclosure. Yet, nothing.

Tonight's broadcast, "Climbing the Food Chain" has been rescheduled for Thursday, March 13th at 7pm PST. This is a one-time Thursday broadcast. Regular Tuesday night broadcasts with Anna Kavanaugh will return next week beginning March 18th. 

We have an update for listeners of the show. Anna has confirmed her voice is recovering from the illness she had to contend with last month and will return to host the show next Tuesday, March 11, 2014. We've updated the program schedule. Tune in on Tuesday for, "Climbing the Food Chain". Who are all the players involved in bringing food to our table? As the conflict rages on about GMO labeling, who of these players stand to lose or gain the most? Understanding exactly who is involved and what their stake is in the agricultural process may shed light on the motivations behind pushing GM foods on consumers and why certain companies and institutions are willing to spend millions to keep us from knowing.  

Unfortunately listeners we have another program update and postponement. Anna will not be able to return to the show tomorrow night as scheduled due to continuing voice issues she is having resulting from the severe cold she was fighting earlier this month. She is expected to return to the broadcast next week but we can not guarantee that at this time.
